      <description>Rocky pinnacle that breaks the water at low tide and drops down to a sandy bottom at 12 metres, Viz is not good on the outgoing tide and fishing line can be a hazard. Not the best site if you can get to those futher out.</description>

      <description>This is a good freediving site a couple of miles north of the Poor Knights Islands. Not sure what the depth is here but is a blue water dive anyway. If the conditions are right you can see marlin, makos, tuna and dolphins. Best to dive where you seen the birds diving.</description>

      <description>This is an inland lake at just on 300m making this an altitude dive! The site of interest for diving is the old Waipori township, submerged when the lake was filled in 1904. The old bridge running from east to west across the mouth of the Lammerlaw Stream is worthy of special note.</description>
